  • LET'S TALK CHEER PODCAST

    The Let's Talk Cheer Podcast is hosted by Jason Larkins (Cheer Director at American Cheer), and is designed to educcate parents in the all-star cheer industry. 


    At Summit, we emphasize curriculum transparency, coach training and consistency of expectations. This podcast aligns with that—helping bridge the gap between gym leadership/coaches and families.

  • WHAT IS USASF?

    The USASF (U.S. All Star Federation) is the national governing body for All Star cheerleading and dance in the United States. It was created to set safety standards, establish rules, and promote fair competition across the industry.


    USASF is the organization parents register their athletes with in order to be eligible to participate on elite teams at Summit Athletix.


    All Varsity competitions are associated with USASF rules and standards.  End of Season events provided by Varsity include The (D2) Summit, Youth Summit and Recreational Summit. 

  • WHAT ARE THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS?

    The Open Championship Series (OCS) is a group of independent cheerleading event producers that work together to create a fair, consistent, and affordable path to end-of-season championship events.


    End of year events include Prep and Rec Grand Nationals and All Star Worlds. Both held in Orlando, Florida in late April or early May. 

  • CAT HALEY FLYING RESOURCES

    The Cat Haley system focuses on research-based strategies for flyer training. 

    Cat Haley specifically focuses on strength in flexibility, body positions, and jump/flight training.


    Video-series courses are offered, as well as 1-on-1 virtual instruction, designed to be used by athletes to improve flexibility and strength. 

  • VARSITY TV

    Varsity TV is a subscription-based streaming service that lets families watch cheer and dance competitions live or on demand. It’s a great way to see your athlete’s performances and follow event results throughout the season.
